Leapfrogs is situated within the school grounds of Hormead Primary School in Great Hormead. It is a separate charitable organisation, run by a committee made up from the parents/ carers of children who attend as well as Leapfrogs staff. We have very close links with the school and many of the children who attend Leapfrogs then attend Hormead School, although not all. We pride ourselves on linking with all schools in the local area to ensure that children are supported through any transition between establishments.
We are OFSTED inspected and copies of our latest report are available on request. We are registered for children from the age of 2 years, and are able to take children on 15 hours funding for both 2, 3 and 4 year olds. This funding can also be shared between settings.
Our staff are all dedicated members of a small team. The manager is trained to Level 4 and studying a Degree in childcare and staff at level 3 or working towards. We feel that having a small consistent staff team is important so we know and understand the needs of all the children that attend the setting. We have over 20 years of experience in child care and education and pride ourselves on meeting the needs of all our children, supporting them to develop holistically and as individual’s.
